Ferris Wheel (words & music by Roy Evan Burstiner)

I buy our tickets, we wait in line

You place hand  ever so gently into mine

We take our seats in that holding basket of hardened steel

And we lost our hearts together on the ferris wheel

We kissed at the bottom, & we kissed at the top,

Hoping that spinning circle of love, it would never stop

With clatter of the monster and the pounding of its pulse we’d feel

Surrender to the night of love on the ferris wheel

You looked at me, and I looked back at  you

When the cool of the night breeze ran thru our souls and we lost thru & thru

Time flew away as we spun on that circle of life so real

Lost in the passion of those kisses on the ferris wheel

Well it’s getting late, we get off the ride

And we walk hand in hand as we smile at each other on this starry night

Holding ourselves in the warmth of the love that we both do feel

In the magic of the lights of the ferris wheel
