Roy Evan Burstiner was born September 6, !952 in the Bronx, N.Y. His interest in music began the moment when as a 9 year old and home sick from school, watched in awe as 4 young men from Liverpool descended the steps of an airplane and took on America and Rock & Roll. Watching The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show, running out and buying his first Rock album "Meet The Beatles" ignited his passion for music. Buying up hundreds of albums from Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, The Stones, and every other musician from the 50's & 60's. At 13 he persuaded his parents to buy him his first guitar and pay for guitar lessons.

His interest in guitar playing faded in his late teens as his interest switched to Abstract Art. he attended the School Of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Over the next few decades he produced and sold hundreds of paintings and watercolor (a section devoted to his artwork will be added to this site in the future).

5 Years ago he picked up his guitar again and started writing and recording his own songs. Disappointed in the music being produced these days, he sought to create the kind of Rock & Roll he grew up on, drawing from his influences of The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Joan Jett, The Ramones and The Stones.
